This is a fun and easy craft that is great for 3 and up. Use the original template or the color template included to create ornaments or Christmas cards. Simply print the template of your choice out on heavyweight paper or card stock, cut out the tree, and allow kids to add Christmas lights to the tree using their fingerprints and washable paint on the dots. If using this craft with 3-4 year olds, you may find the color template easier for them to follow. Have them match their paint to the dots already on the tree.
Ornament: Once the paint has dried, punch a hole in the top of the star and add some twine.
Christmas Card: Once the paint has dried, glue the finished tree to the front of a card and allow kids to decorate and write in the card.
